Someone was bent over a script trying to articulate exactly how pissed off Rei was, and came to the conclusion that the best way to express this was to have her speak for her heels in terms of fire. Because fire is always fucking pissed as shit. Rei knows, okay? Rei listens to fire. Rei IS fire. And now you have gone so far you have even pissed off her heels. Her red high heels. Someone wrote that line, and they were 100% correct, it is THE PERFECT LINE.
