Now that we are officially in 2014 and the holidays are behind us, we thought it would be a great time to take a look at the big screen releases that we can look forward to from Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures in 2014. A quick glance at the list shows Disney has something coming for everyone. There are three blockbuster Marvel movies on the 2014 slate including the second entry in the “Captain America” series, the science-fiction adventure “Guardians of the Galaxy,” and the 3D-animated film Big Hero 6. “Maleficent” is one of the most anticipated summer films and is the untold story of one of Disney’s most iconic villains, Maleficent, who will be played by Angelina Jolie. “Need for Speed” is an action film based on the popular game series and several family-centric movies headed by “Muppets Most Wanted” are on the list as well.
