Intermittent “502 Bad Gateway” errors plagued Tumblr for several hours. Tumblr Support posted a notice, and the staff sent regular tweets during the outage. According to CNET’s Jennifer Van Grove, a Tumblr spokesperson said that “there was a compatibility issue during an upgrade.”
