Monsters vs. Aliens In Theaters Tomorrow

DreamWorks Animation's Monsters vs. Aliens Opens in IMAX(R) 3D Theatres on Friday, March 27:

"LOS ANGELES, March 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - IMAX Corporation (NASDAQ: IMAX; TSX:IMX) today announced that Monsters vs. Aliens, the first 3D release from DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc. (Nasdaq: DWA), will open simultaneously with the digital 3D and conventional 2D releases on March 27, 2009, in 143 domestic IMAX(R) theatres, a record for a first-run film. The film will also open in five IMAX theatres internationally day-and-date and another 51 IMAX international theatres in the days and weeks to follow, for a total of 199 IMAX theatres, a record for a Hollywood film. Monsters vs. Aliens is the third release of a five picture partnership between DreamWorks Animation and IMAX, and the first to be presented in IMAX(R) 3D. The film has been digitally re-mastered into the unparalleled image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience(R) with IMAX DMR(R) technology."
