OH MY GOD GUYS, NICK DREW APRIL+DONNIE FLUFF)) Actually I think it’s Raph and not don who shows up in those concepts, or maybe all of them (explained later). I say that cause Raph was who originally was gonna have the crush on April. Later on they realized that the guy that needed the most the crush to help develop his character was donnie, so they gave it to him. I think this is another concept art thingy they did for the show (I’m like 99% sure; if it is actually fan made I promise to shoot myself in the foot) and you can see raph being all crushy on April. Not donnie. I’m actually quite saddened that a lot of this ideas went unused. Another cool thing I just noticed is that splinter doesn’t show up in any of these, which makes sense since the original pitch was that splinter would start off dead. The show would basically be about the turtles learning to fend for themselves, and kind of figuring out what their purpose in the world was. I think April was supposed to be like the first human they encountered, who they befriended, and ended up doing almost everything with. I think I also remember Ciro saying that originally all the turtles were supposed to sort of have a crush on her. *cough* the turtle in the picture is using a Bo staff to hold himself *cough* Hey wait HEY WAIT HE HAS SAIS THAT SUCKS THAT JUST RUINS IT SORRY NEVERMIND YOURE RIGHT IM GONNA GO CRY IN A CORNER NOW LOL ((NOOOO I WAS ALL LIKE “OMG MAYBE THEYLL PUT IT IN THE SHOW” NOW IM LIKE “WELL FUCK” And yeah, I see what you’re saying about the ‘Bo staff’ being a flag… MY DREAMS ARE RUINED))
