seanhowe: When Marvel’s Godzilla comic was cancelled in 1979, an inventory issue by Marv Wolfman and Steve Ditko was reworked as “Dragon Lord,” which ran in Marvel Spotlight. At top, Steve Ditko’s original cover for the issue, which was not used (it saw the light of day in Comics Journal #54). But it all worked out okay: Frank Miller and Bob Wiacek hit it out of the park with their version.
