keyofnik: I just think it’s really funny that Mamoru get asked this question. Especially as it’s been like several thousand years and shit. But then extra insulting to Beryl, perhaps, because he has. It’s actually kind of interesting to think about. I wonder how faulty are Beryl’s own memories? Especially so heavily influenced by Metallia? I was thinking, what a shame to have even her pleasant memories so warped for so long to keep her pliable under Metallia. But you know what’s even better? If Metallia does the opposite and keeps Beryl’s memories PERFECT. Not needing to manipulate them at all. Metallia just makes sure that time never gets the chance to lessen them. Beryl remembering every single second in crystal clarity like it just happened. Reliving every slight and insult, or every gesture and broken promise, perfectly, every single day.
