So the subtle differences are fantastic, and I love how it’s clear these are twisted personalities. Usagi goes from outwardly happy to the world to glaring at the Senshi. They are HERS. ALL will be hers. Rei goes from her usual aggravated self to just this fucking scary intense burn. Ami’s enthusiasm is detached and calculating. That bottom image her expression as she’s asked Mars to make her fires burn as intensely as possible so she can see how fast flesh melts. Mako, from kindness to broiling rage. And Minako. The fact that Minako still looks cheerful and friendly while KNOWING what she will do. Legit chill up my spine. Just damn. LOVE it. The twisted nature of the rest is all-too clear here, but Minako… Minako is gold here - it’s the look in her eyes - she’s twisted, but in a true mentally-detached way. She’d be the sort who’d feel just as happy with tricking someone into walking into a doorway crisscrossed with sticky-tape and laughing as they yelp and flair, as she would be tripping someone so they fall onto an active table-saw and die from gruesome mutilation… "Oh my God, Usagi-chan! That guy from school that you said made fun of your hair? Well, I just got so mad when you mentioned it the other day, I found him and cornered him about being so mean. He was so scared, when I pulled out the gun, he wet his pants like a little baby! You should’ve seen the look on his face when I pulled the trigger and the little ‘BANG!’ flag popped out! It was SO funny! Then, when I pulled out the knife, we both started laughing… until pulled the rubber cover off the real blade and stabbed him about five or six times with it, then it was just me laughing; he just kinda choked and gurgled for a minute or two before he quit moving.
