keyofnik: This thing is out to kill me by centimeters, are you SERIOUS. My god. Usagi slowly — so painfully slowly — realizing she’s alone. So, you know, only Usagi’s single biggest fear of all time. But then she can hear the others. Because this is “Listening To Distant Voices: The Musical”, she can’t see them. I’m guessing they’re somewhere outside of Metallia, but as we saw earlier, Ami’s mobile reception is fantastic, so they’re able to reach Usagi. And for a second. For just one tiny second, everything’s okay. Even though Mamoru’s still dead, Usagi’s okay. Hey, the others are here too! Now we can sort shit out (and like GLAD YOU THOUGHT OF THAT TEN MINUTES AGO USAGI). But it’s not true, and the Senshi know it. Minako gets right to business. “We gave all our life power to you.” Basically, “We’re dying and only have a few moments left.” You have to think that’s the last way Minako would want to give news like that, but she doesn’t have time for smiles and jokes now. Mako though. Mako. She can’t keep down what she’s feeling, she never could. “I’m glad you’re alive.” That truly is all that matters to Mako, and she’ll spend her last breaths saying so. And then Rei. Minako delivered hit number one, and now Rei to follow it up. Here’s where you are. Here’s what you do next. Who knows how far away they are, but Rei’s what Rei does: grabbing Usagi’s shoulders, pointing her in the right direction, and shoving. But Usagi. All she can do is sit there, looking more and more horrified with every passing second. “I can’t do that!” It’s so pure Usagi. So much fear. Every single thing she’s done this musical has actually been showing how much she CAN’T do. But now she’s got no choice but to show that yes, she can.
