thirdeyecomics: THIRD EYE PICKS OF THE WEEK: BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER SEASON 10 #1 — As many of you know, we’re pretty huge Buffy fans here at Third Eye, and loved the entire television series all the way through to it’s end. So, as you can imagine, when they brought Buffy back under the direction of Whedon as a comic… well, we pretty much got hooked all over again. Now, after a successful run on SEASON 8 and SEASON 9 (both available in graphic novel format), BUFFY SEASON 10 begins, and we cannot wait to see the direction Joss has the characters heading. The age old battle of Slayer vs. Vampire is the focus of Buffy’s life once again — heck, this first issue makes us downright nostalgic! But, with all the toying with magic she’s done lately, Buffy should know it’s time for another game change — shouldn’t she? Featuring executive production and guidance by Joss Whedon, the BUFFY comics are the official in-canon continuation of the cult favorite TV series, and we highly recommend giving it a shot. You can either start with season 10, or go back to SEASON 8, which is the first line of comics to pick up immediately where the television series finished.
