keepingthespiritalive: [NOAH News] Noah announced that Ryu Nakata had passed away on the 15th due to a Myocardial infarction (heart attack), at the age of 51 years old. Nakata of course has been Noah’s ring announcer as well as a director for the promotion since Misawa left All Japan in 2000. Nakata’s funeral is scheduled to be held in private only to family and close friends. Nakata has been active in pro wrestling since April of 1980. I had the pleasure to meet Nakata on a few occasions years back, and this is a very sad loss as he did a lot for the guys going oversees. He was very key in being able to spot talent to bring back to Japan. Rest in piece in Ryu-San. 仲田龍さんの御冥福をお祈り致します。
