aelie-baby: I totally headcanon that these two have the biggest hatemance going on. Ventei is the head of the terrestrial forces, and Septem is in charge of the space forces, so it makes sense that they would be at each others throats constantly for control of the budget and resources. Ventei is the more level-headed of the two, with Septem being, as we’ve seen, petty as all freaking hell. I feel like Noventa shared this plan with Ventei beforehand, so they could collaborate on strategery for this conference, but they left Septem out of it completely cause eff that guy. He just wants money and power. Septem, however, thinks that he, Noventa, and Ventei are this awesome Triumvirate of Power, but he apparently missed the memo that he was Crassus, not Caesar. Oops.
