keyofnik: GOOD TO KNOW PHOBIAS WORK THAT WAY These early episodes can be so incredibly aggravating. They have really good stuff to offset them, thankfully, and the problems are self-contained to the specific episodes for the most part rather than being season wide, so they’re easy enough to brush past. But yeah, basically, Shingo having a phobia about cats so great that he’s cowering in the corner, which is completely ignored by his parents, and is then instantly overcome because Sailor Moon asks him to stop. Great job, episode, totally makes sense, no weak plot contrivances happening here, no sir.
